Peer support for the mental and physical symptoms in chronic illness

We understand to live with Chronic Illness

Join Us

Peer support, for us, means showing up as we are. It’s people with lived experience walking alongside each other — sharing understanding that doesn’t come from textbooks, but from real life. We listen without judgement. We share what’s helped us survive the messy bits. We respect that everyone’s journey is different, and only you get to decide what’s helpful for you. No labels. No fixing. Just connection, understanding, and shared experience — from people who truly get it.

The Force is with us!

Our FREE ONLINE PEER-SUPPORT GROUPS

You don’t have to navigate chronic symptoms alone, neither do we…

We have been running groups for almost four years online meeting people from all over the globe and throughout the UK. More often than not we help our Rogues and Roguettes on a daily basis not just the events listed – so we’ve learnt a lot throughout this journey and the most important thing we can say – is we are a non-judgemental space and at least one of us in any group will be going through similar issues.

Most of our online groups are on a Tuesday but we’ve added Thursdays twice a month too! We run various sessions on a monthly basis but we guarantee to be available every Tuesday at 10am til 11.45am for our check-in service. If you are new to our online groups, you’ll need to sign-up at Eventbrite in advance of the session you want to join [bookings close 30 mins before each group]. Our groups are free to all but if you can afford to make a small donation to help support our work then please do so at the checkout stage.

We usually post groups a week beforehand as we have few spaces, so follow us on Eventbrite if you want to stay informed. Thank you!

Extra Services and Up-coming events

We’re available to book for talks and wellbeing Cafe’s where we share the extensive knowledge we have gained over the past few years helping people with chronic conditions all over the world.

We are also happy to help anyone with wheelchair lessons, getting used to being in a wheelchair, helping you decide which type of chair is best, how much fun it is to have a wheelchair, the freedom and independence a wheelchair provides and how to dance in it with your friends and family!

We have helped people regain their confidence in themselves as well as confidence in being in a chair without any help. We can give advice and demonstrations for people who have had a stroke, issues with spatial awareness and where and when it is safe to cross roads, pavements and more.

We can only provide this service in the South Devon area – or check out our Mental Blog and YouTube channel for our wheelchair adventures!

Future Talk: Anxious - But Outside - Ivybridge

Date, Venue and Time To Be Announced

This session's purpose is to help you start feeling Safer, More Confident, and Prepared in Public & Outdoor Spaces. Chronic illness often comes with constant commentary – if you’re fed up of being told how to manage your anxiety by people who don’t live in it – then this session is for you.

We’re waiting on date TBC

Require support outside of our groups?

We have a few slots each day that we save for when someone is in need of a chat. You can reserve a 1-to-1 zoom session directly with Marie or Debby or both if you think it might help. Just click the book now button to see what times we have available…
